* When a Hirschfeld Drawing is of a single person—whether as a portrait, or as a single actor in a play or in a film—the title of the Drawing is usually listed under the person's name—often by the first letter of the person's first name. For example, a solo portrait of Frank Sinatra will usually be listed under Frank. We like to think of each of these drawings as its own Hirschfeld Soliloquy.

Sometimes Hirschfeld Drawings will also listed by genre, such as Jazz, Opera, and Classical Composers & Conductors. If you are looking for Giuseppe Verdi, you will find him both under Giuseppe and Classical.
